Good news for the animal game lovers. High Voltage Software (the folks behind The Conduit) is targeting this September to release Animales de la Muerte. This game is about the undead and zombie animals in a Mexican zoo.

In this game you will be killing the zombified animals and at the same time save poor creatures. This game is actually a point-and-shoot action title, enabling the best use of the Wiimote. You must watch the hilarious trailer on the site to get a better look at it.

The results for March out! Its not surprising guys! It’s the same and as expected. Nintendo had bagged the top spot again. Nintendo rocked with the Wii. I know you guys would definitely like to know the sales figures. The sad thing was Pachter didn’t even figure in the list.

Wii topped with in hardware sales followed by DS, PSP, XBOX, PS3 and PS2. Super Smash Bros’ Brawl really rocked the market. I guess it is very nice to know that market is developing buoyantly.

Hey guys any body interested in publishing a game? High voltage has not yet signed any publisher for it’s “the Conduit”. They have been showing Tech Demo which reflects that they have not got any publisher. The demo is quite impressive with the water effects truly awesome.

The Conduit is widely expected to rock the game lovers. The conduit will be introducing a mature FPS. We need to wait for the game until High Voltage Software finds it. Well actually there is no guarantee for its release.

Wii Therapy 04/15/2008

Congratulations, Nintendo!  It looks like the Wii is making the jump from being a source of carpal tunnel-inducing fun to a tool in serious therapy.  From assisting troops wounded in battle to stroke victims, the Wii has shown to have benefits to the impaired and handicapped.  The console's newest oppononent?  Parkinson's disease.

The Medical College of Georgia is conducting an occupational therapy study with the Wii.  The goal is to "teach patients and do functional activities", hopefully making them less dependent on medication.  The game system is not a cure, but is being used to help patients with problem areas like timing, coordination, and balance.  Kudos, Wii.

Its the same old story for Wii gamers.  Europe gets their hands on a title before fans in the States get a chance to buy it.  Except this time, the tables have turned.  Super Swing Golf is finally being released in Europe.

Americans know the game as Super Swing Golf: Season 2, and it was released here in December to very little fanfare.  It's a pretty fun game that never truly caught on in America, but maybe it gets a second chance across the pond when it hits the shelves on June 27th.  Released by Rising Star, makers of Baroque, SSG is quite silly, but in a good way, and well worth a try.

After waiting with anticipation for Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life as a King, Japanese Wii fans got their first taste of downloadable content.  The upside is that there are buildings, costumes, and even recruitable races.  The downside is that it's gonna cost you.  Dearly.

Wii Points are the currency of DLC these days, allowing gamers to pay and customize their playing experience.  Sounds nice until you realize that picking up the three tribal buildings offered as well as the new costumes will set you back 1300 Wii Points.  This is all going on in Japan right now, but it doesn't bode well for this FF title's arrival in the U.S.

Famitsu is reporting that all is not well with a highly anticipated title.  Although it's only known because of screenshots from late last year, Oboro Muramasa Youtouden is stalling in production.  That's a shame, because it really does look good in pictures.

I know that looks aren't the only thing that matter, but it's all that's available.  With its hand-painted look, the game has garnered some buzz over the past half-year, but the lack of news in so long may have been a sign that the game was getting scrapped.  Nothing's certain yet, so let's cross our fingers and click our heels together.

A great name.  Some games have it, some games don't.  Remember when you first heard a name like Metal Gear?  Or even something curiously quirky like Sonic the Hedgehod?  Well, the Virtual Console is getting a new game, and its name is Break In.  Excited?

Don't be.  Break In is apparently a Turbografx-16 game that was originally released in Japan in 1989.  For the record, it stayed in Japan.  For some reason, it's coming to the U.S. a couple of years before it's old enough to drink.  Go figure.  Oh, I almost forgot the greatest part of this announcment - Break In is a pool game.  Yep, billiards.  Sometimes a name is just a name.
