Nintendo promoted Mario Super Sluggers on September 5, 2008 at Safeco Field. Mario offered its fans a special opportunity to enjoy the latest game on the Wii console, Mario Super Sluggers. Nintendo placed Wii game kiosks, inviting the attendees to use the wireless Wii mote controller like a bat or make a pitching motion to throw a pitch.

 Nintendo boosted its annual profit outlook by 23 percent on white –hot demand for its Wii video game console and DS portable player, beating market expectations and sending its shares more than 8 percent higher. Nintendo’s demand is very high as compared to its supply, which in turn allows the company to enjoy profit in their shares. Nintendo has also increased its production so we can expect that Wii Fit availability will be easy in future.

As the consumers in the United States and Europe snap up its game machines, Nintendo hiked forecasts for the Wii 6 percent and for the DS 9 percent. Thus pushing the company to the limits of current production capacity and making Wii Fit availability easy.

The fact that Nintendo is confident to say even before the end of the first half, that overseas sales are this strong , will likely help the stock ride a wave towards the Christmas shopping season ,”said Koki Shiraishi, an analyst at Daiwa Institute of Research. 

Nintendo said it now expects an operating profit of 650 billion yen ($6 billion) in the year to march up from its previous forecast of 530 billion yen. Nintendo is enjoying the profits that their product is gaining in the Japanese market. Nintendo has promised to Japanese lovers that the crises in the game supply will end soon, as the company is going to provide retailers with a constant supply. Nintendo is taking such measures so that Wii fit availability is not questioned again.
