Long time back when the WiiWare was not introduced, the ex-Naughty Dog staff of Steel Penny Games had announced that it will make a game for the WiiWare, This company was formed by two of the ex-staff of Penny Steel Games. The company sent out a press release that it will be launching their first game, Bruiser and Scratch exclusively for WiiWare in December 2008.

Bruiser and Scratch is a matching puzzle game in which players have to match pairs of identical items by shoving items around on a chessboard. These items then form a single piece. There is not much known about the game, not even the basics. t/his makes the game more exciting and worth waiting.

Next year seems to be great for Nintendo as a lot of unique and fun-looking games are in the pipeline to be released. To name a few, Madworld, Sin and Punishment 2, The Conduit and Punch-Out are the few games for which the core is excited. Nintendo’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Cammie Dunaway in an interview to MTV Multiplayer stated that the next year the tide will be seen turning a bit more for Nintendo as Wii will have something more interesting for everybody. She is confident that the next year will be a pretty good year in terms of the breadth of offerings that are going to be out there for a bunch of folks!

The interview has not yet been published full but we’ll definitely do so as soon as it is out as we are also excited to know more from her about the games!

Apple liked the concept when Nintendo’s Wiimote was introduced in the market and back in May, it made up its mind to come up with another Wiimote-like remote control but for the use of its own Apple TV. However, it was just a patent at that time. The patent is since November 2006 as one can't imagine what Apple would have this planned for.

The same patent is back again as Apple is back with an Apple Smart Remote complete with IR sensor and accelerometer action. We have to see if the Apple’s version of the Wiimote will be able to compete with Nintendo’s console.

The Internet Channel will receive significant updation next month as stated by the online Game Magazine, Game Reactor. The new version will have big new navigation buttons and it will support the WiiSpeak microphone. A WiiSpeak is a microphone that is put on the top of the TV and the whole crowd can share in voice chat as they play.

This updation will now allow tabbed browsing in the form of a Tab Cube, each side of which shows a tab. In addition to this we could even check our Wii messages from inside the browser interface. It will be a free update for the users currently using the Internet Channel and 500 points for everyone else.

There’s good news for the fans of James Bond 007 as Quantum of Solace is finally ready for release this week. It is a good game for those interested in FPS games or those who like to play online with other players.

There are some cool features utilized in the Wii version with multiple control schemes. The game has the facility of online multiplayer with 4-player split-screen local multiplayer. The visuals are also lovely to view in this game. Apart from this game, there are a number of other retail games due for release this week which include Pop Star Guitar, Madagascar: Escape to Africa, Rubik’s World, Monster Lab, Bratz  Kid: Slumber Party,  Petz Sports, North American Hunting Adventure and Game Party/Cruis’n. The WiiWare releases include Alien Crush Returns and Home Sweet Home. The virtual console release is Space Harrier. Gamers can use the Wiimote and the Nunchuk setup or they can use the Zapper and play with it

Grim Fandango is this week’s game that has been ported on Wii in honor of its recent tenth anniversary. It was the last truly great adventure game from the company Lucasarts.

The plot of Grim Fandango unfolds during the Day of the Dead across a span of four years where the main protagonist Manny Calavera is utterly devoted to finding Mercedes Colomar. The game’s narrative is strong enough, showing how much better life gets after death. The game could be carried alone but the presentation is exactly what holds back this all-time classic. As Manny explores the Land of the Dead, the soundtrack mixes with the melancholy jazz and the tunes meld perfectly artistic decorations. The game requires keen eyes to play and the little minor faults can be overlooked, cleaned and polished once it is on the Wii port and we can further look forward to getting the Wiimote on Grim Fandango.

Nowadays games are using movies so that they can get market in developing countries. The launch of Xbox Live Community Games Channel will be on Nov 19, 2008. Live gamers are giving fees ranging from $2.50 to $10. This was the step taken by Nintendo at the time of Wiiware. According to Boyd who is the general manager of the XNA game platform at Microsoft declared that Nintendo has to screen its content other wise Microsoft is not going to accept it.

The company was showing 19 best user generated games in an event in San Francisco. In this context Microsoft got 290 submissions of games from people who want to compete for $70,000 in prize. The game was full of color and different aliens have pair of tongues with the help of that they can climb like a jet.

FIFA Soccer 2009 is packed with numerous games with play additions and most developments took place. According to EA sports 250 changes were made which was very real and of high response. It was clear that new generation needs more innovation and creativity in their products to use.

FIFA Soccer 2009 on the Nintendo Wii is totally different from Soccer 2009 which has graphics similar to cartoons. It was a gift for people who always demand something different.
