Even the individuals who started a rehab centre in Amsterdam for treatment of video game addiction have come to the conclusion that gaming is not the issue, rather the problem lies somewhere else.
Keith Baker, the founder of this rehab clinic says that ninety percent of children that they are treating are not addicted to gaming though the symptoms are somewhat similar to other addictions.

However, now since they have worked upon many patients, Baker believes it is because of the children feeling isolated due to their parents and school and also social frustration which often lead the young people to endorse themselves into consoles. If games are considered to be tools for escape and not the cause, then we should find out ways by which we can start helping kids who are struggling.

The company sent out a press release that it will be launching their first game, Bruiser and Scratch exclusively for WiiWare in December 2008.

Bruiser and Scratch is a matching puzzle game in which players have to match pairs of identical items by shoving items around on a chessboard. These items then form a single piece. There is not much known about the game, not even the basics. t/his makes the game more exciting and worth waiting.

To name a few, Madworld, Sin and Punishment 2, The Conduit and Punch-Out are the few games for which the core is excited. Nintendo’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Cammie Dunaway in an interview to MTV Multiplayer stated that the next year the tide will be seen turning a bit more for Nintendo as Wii will have something more interesting for everybody. She is confident that the next year will be a pretty good year in terms of the breadth of offerings that are going to be out there for a bunch of folks!

The interview has not yet been published full but we’ll definitely do so as soon as it is out as we are also excited to know more from her about the games!

However, it was just a patent at that time. The patent is since November 2006 as one can't imagine what Apple would have this planned for.

The same patent is back again as Apple is back with an Apple Smart Remote complete with IR sensor and accelerometer action. We have to see if the Apple’s version of the Wiimote will be able to compete with Nintendo’s console.

The new version will have big new navigation buttons and it will support the WiiSpeak microphone. This updation will now allow tabbed browsing in the form of a Tab Cube, each side of which shows a tab. In addition to this we could even check our Wii messages from inside the browser interface. It will be a free update for the users currently using the Internet Channel and 500 points for everyone else.

It was the last truly great adventure game from the company Lucasarts.

The plot of Grim Fandango unfolds during the Day of the Dead across a span of four years where the main protagonist Manny Calavera is utterly devoted to finding Mercedes Colomar. The game’s narrative is strong enough, showing how much better life gets after death. The game could be carried alone but the presentation is exactly what holds back this all-time classic. As Manny explores the Land of the Dead, the soundtrack mixes with the melancholy jazz and the tunes meld perfectly artistic decorations. The game requires keen eyes to play and the little minor faults can be overlooked, cleaned and polished once it is on the Wii port and we can further look forward to getting the Wiimote on Grim Fandango.
