Well so Nintendo almost put some parental eye control on the Wii to make sure that the Wii isn't the bad thing in a household. This would of allowed parents to stop game play when the kids just had enough.

Pretty nifty and I think it is a great idea, as a parent, I wouldn't want my kids to play Wii at all hours of the day. I wish they had put that timer on the Wii, so I can monitor game play more effectively.

Usually the operating system on a computer will have built in parental control, and the effectiveness of the control will depend on which operating system you use, and also which version of a particular operating system.
