After waiting with anticipation for Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life as a King, Japanese Wii fans got their first taste of downloadable content.  The upside is that there are buildings, costumes, and even recruitable races.  The downside is that it's gonna cost you.  Dearly.

Wii Points are the currency of DLC these days, allowing gamers to pay and customize their playing experience.  Sounds nice until you realize that picking up the three tribal buildings offered as well as the new costumes will set you back 1300 Wii Points.  This is all going on in Japan right now, but it doesn't bode well for this FF title's arrival in the U.S.
