It all depends on what one wants to believe, but the trailer of We Move: Pain vs. Pleasure cannot be disregarded. Dismissed the first time as an advertising gimmick, the trailer shows a faceless young woman who runs, walks among clones. The air of mystery deepens as the trailer was without revealing anything more than the first time, with the addition of a pained young man.
The media has received no clarifications or concrete answers from the Nintendo rep, but no firm denials either! So is it a hoax, or is it a testing device to gauge the interest of the gaming community? Or is it just to be left as it is, a mystifying tactic to build interest before the announcement or release? Whatever it is, each trailer is as perplexing as the previous one, and carefully conceals any information. If the ‘We Move’ trailer and the aura of mystery is an attempt at marketing, then the creators have succeeded in generating a substantial amount of interest in the We Move series. What remains to be seen, is if the other attributes of the game match to the hype, or will it disappoint the gamer after so much of excitement?
