Nintendo promoted Mario Super Sluggers on September 5, 2008 at Safeco Field. Mario offered its fans a special opportunity to enjoy the latest game on the Wii console, Mario Super Sluggers. Nintendo placed Wii game kiosks, inviting the attendees to use the wireless Wii mote controller like a bat or make a pitching motion to throw a pitch.  

This new baseball title includes more than 40 playable characters from the Nintendo universe. What is even better is that Nintendo gave away a Wii console and a copy of Mario Super Sluggers on a random basis during each inning. Hence, nine lucky fans were selected during each inning to win a prize package.
