Nintendo will be launching Wii in China later this year. However the best news is that both the Wii and DS are being launched in India on September 30th. Well Nintendo knows that these two are the most populated nation in the world. Hence it would be sensible place to start.

The distribution and logistics will be handled by Samurai-India and HCL. However all those Indian gamers who are excited about the launch need to hold their horses. They might get a heart stoke on hearing that a Wii will cost around INR 19,990 ($445) and the DS will cost INR 7,990 ($178). The DS is more reasonable.
